See what people our saying about their experiences taking our Sourdough Workshop!
"My husband and I took the Oak + Ollie beginner workshop at Rappahannock Cellars. It was amazing. I never ventured into sourdough before and was worried it wouldn't turn out, but it was wonderful. Dominique took time to teach us the techniques to be successful and what not to be concerned about. She answered all questions and I enjoyed the workshop more than any other baking workshop I have attended. Completely worth it and while I have purchased more equipment I still use the bowl and banneton a year later." — Karen Weber

"Oak + Ollie workshops are amazing! This power couple thrives on providing knowledge and training to others. Dominique takes time to show, educate and answer questions, no matter how many you have.... They make baking fun and easy to learn.
I have tried making sourdough in the past by watching videos, reading directions,  but this hands on experience is so worth every penny! Now I'm a pro.... Not like Dominique but maybe one day!
I appreciate this couple so very much. We became quick friends, that now they can't get rid of me... They provide a great atmosphere that encourages everyone in the room. I can't wait for more workshops!" — Nichole Johns

"I didn't even like sourdough bread before taking this workshop but Oak + Ollie changed that for me! All the sourdough I've ever had before was just too sour and hard. My friend convinced me to take the class which I only did to hang out with her and boy was I impressed! The workshop was at a vineyard and was set up very nicely. All the materials were included. Sample sourdough along with fruits, cheeses and crackers were included. The sourdough here was not too sour and not hard. It was perfect! Afterwards you get to take home some starter and a dough loaf to bake at home. I have made countless sourdough loaves now and even experimented with sourdough pasta, swirl bread, soup bread bowls, crackers, etc. Taking this class has really opened up my eyes to a whole new world of sourdough. Dominique is there for you to answer any questions along the way and give you another starter if need be. You are learning from the best of the best invaluable sourdough skills while making fun memories. Take the class, it's well worth it!" — Courtney Definbaugh
